‘Young Limbs Rise Again’ is a limited edition vinyl and cd box set that celebrate the subculture of Goth from the music played and bands that performed at the legendary Batcave, a weekly club night hosted at the heart of Soho’s Dean Street in the early 1980s.
Music compiled by Jonny Slut (Specimen) with accompanying book designed by Batcave co-founder John Klein, and Sophie Chery. The book features Derek Ridgers photography taken at the Batcave in its early days at Gossips before the club moved to Leicester Square.
Told by the people that were there, in Derek’s words ‘definitely one of the truly great clubs of the ‘80s.’
